Case study: A Living Control multi-room audio/visual system
Living Room
The living room houses a Pioneer 50" Plasma screen with a Bose Lifestyle 48 Home Entertainment System and Sky HD. The Bose system is discreetly hidden along with the Sky HD Receiver in the cupboard below the screen.
5 x white Bose dual cube speakers are wall mounted above the book cases.
Dining Room
The dining room has Bose AM5 Acoustimass speakers in white mounted on wall brackets above the picture rail. The dining room is an individual zone operated by a wireless LCD remote.

Kitchen
The kitchen is fitted with in-ceiling speakers by Speakercraft. There are four speakers discreetly positioned in each corner of the kitchen ceiling controlled by a Bose LCD remote control and on a separate zone.
Snug
This room has a Panasonic 42" Plasma screen with the customers existing Bose speakers. A Sky+ Receiver and Panasonic DVD recorder are used as local sources for this zone. An IR control sensor relays infra red signal to the units in the cupboard below.
The Hall
The Hall is flooded by sound from Bose AM5 speakers. The speakers are well camouflaged with the wood panelling.
Gym/Sauna
2 x in-ceiling Speakercraft speakers have been used to provide high quality sound for both the Gym and Sauna. Sky HD is distributed to visual display to allow full control of the receiver.
Cellar
The zone amplification for the kitchen and snug area are wired back to a board located in the cellar for easy access, together with power points.
